Screenlapse 1.12026-06-21
Screenlapse is now a buy-once app — and the trial is as private as everything else here.
Added
- A 14-day free trial. Use every feature for two weeks — no account, no card, nothing to sign up for.
- Buy once, yours to keep. When the trial ends, a single purchase unlocks Screenlapse for good. No subscription, ever.
- A new License tab in Settings — see how many trial days are left, buy with one click, or paste a license you've already bought.
- Activation happens entirely on your Mac. Your license is checked offline against a key built into the app — no account, no sign-in, nothing sent anywhere.
Changed
- A calmer end to the trial. When it's up, Screenlapse stops taking new shots — but anything it already captured keeps flowing to your folder, and every setting stays just as you left it.
Privacy
- Your trial and license are kept in your Mac's Keychain and nowhere else — the same promise as your captures.
Screenlapse 1.02026-06-21
First public release.
Added
- Scheduled screen capture on a configurable interval, delivered to a folder you choose — a NAS share or any local folder.
- Reliable delivery: each frame is written to your Mac first, then copied; if the destination goes offline, captures queue locally and upload automatically when it returns.
- Capture all displays separately, a single display, or one stitched panorama — as HEIC, JPEG, or PNG.
- Privacy controls: auto-pause while chosen apps (password managers, banking, …) are frontmost, a global pause hotkey, retention limits, and a free-disk floor.
- Native menu-bar app with a live countdown and capture count, a guided first-run welcome, and a tabbed Settings window.
- Launch at login and automatic, signed updates.
